Sophia Koustas attended the University of New Hampshire (Durham, NH) earning a dual major degree in Music Education and International Affairs. During her studies Ms. Koustas took an active role in events production on campus (Director of Campus Activities Board, SCOPE, Office of the President, etc.). In 1997, she continued her studies in International Business at New Hampshire College and in 2005 received a MSc in Organizational Leadership from SNHU.
Sophia has lived and worked in the US and Greece. Since 1992 she has designed, managed and organized cultural events and productions (UNH, Department of Culture & Youth, S.Mou.Th., etc.) and worked in the fields of Education and Communication.
Some of the large scale events she has undertaken include: New Year’s Eve celebration, Pineios Festival, etc. as well as productions (One Penny Musical, Carmen, The Magic Flute, etc.)
She has authored many articles and worked as Editor-in-Chief for a free press magazine and was radio producer of a daily show.
She is co-founder of S.Mou.Th. (Synergy of Music Theater), elected member of the SAE USA Youth Network Coordinating Council, board member of εεδελ, board member of the Roots & Routes International Association, and President of the InDONNAtiόn Female Choir.
